Summer/Fall SAT & ACT Prep
Our personalized test prep is based on proven strategies, decades of experience, and expert understanding of the latest academic testing trends.
We get to know our students so we can help them do their best.
Diagnostic SAT and ACT Tests
Whether it’s one-on-one tutoring or a group course, we always recommend starting with diagnostic testing. This helps us develop a testing strategy that works for each of our students. We recommend that students take one practice SAT and one practice ACT.
Note: Students who have already taken an SAT or ACT don’t have to take that diagnostic test, but should provide us with their testing reports for review.
After testing, students who register for a group class or private tutoring with us will receive a $100 credit towards their class or first private session.
Group SAT and ACT Prep Classes
With only four to six students per session, our small group classes offer individual attention and customized approaches. We focus on building test-taking strategies, skills, and confidence to get our students ready to take the SAT or ACT on their chosen date.

SAT: Prep for August 15 Exam
Cost: $1150, includes all materials
Class limit: 6 students (minimum of four to run class)
Total Time: 12 hours of instruction
Class day: MONDAYS
Class dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27; August 3, 10
Class times: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Three required in-office exams:
- First test to be completed between June 22 and July 5
- Second test to be completed between July 27 and August 2
- Third test to be completed between August 30 and September 6
SAT: Prep for September 12 Exam
Cost: $1475, includes all materials
Class limit: 6 students (minimum of four to run class)
Total Time: 16 hours of instruction
Class day: THURSDAYS
Class dates: July 9, 16, 23, 30; August 6, 20; September 3, 10
Class times: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Three required in-office exams:
- First test to be completed between June 22 and July 5
- Second test to be completed between July 27 and August 2
- Third test to be completed between August 30 and September 6
ACT: Prep for September 19 Exam
Cost: $1475, includes all materials
Class limit: 6 students (minimum of four to run class)
Total Time: 16 hours of instruction
Class day: WEDNESDAYS
Class dates: July 15, 22, 29; August 5, 19; September 2, 9, 16
Class times: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Three required in-office exams:
- First test to be completed between July 5 and July 11
- First test to be completed between August 1 and August 15
- First test to be completed between September 1 and September 12
PSAT: Prep for October 2026 Exam
Cost: $375, includes all materials
Class limit: 18 students
Total Time: 16 hours of instruction
Class day: Monday – Thursday
Class dates: August 31 – September 4
Class times: 10:00 AM-12:30 PM
Private SAT and ACT Tutoring
We focus on our students’ needs, learning about their strengths, challenges, interests, and more. We know students are busy, so scheduling is flexible and based around their activities. Starting with diagnostic testing, we build a comprehensive, manageable plan. For us, it’s about setting our students up for success with less stress.
Cost: $1,995* (includes all materials)
Total Time: 1o hours of instruction
Class day/time: To be arranged with Sheptin Tutoring
*Regular Price $2,400. Special discount available through July 31. Hours need to be used by October 15, 2026.
Once signed up, there will be a one-time $175 charge for exam materials and students are welcome to come to the office to take practice/diagnostic tests as often as they like.
